Prototype and Branding Design Guidelines
Take Care Health Employer Solutions is committed to delivering on-site health and wellness centers that meet each client’s needs – which is why it enlisted Kahn to develop a brand identity and a set of flexible design guidelines for a patient-centered Take Care Health Healthy Living Center prototype. At the core of every Take Care Health health and wellness model is a clinic – usually consisting of an on-site office with a doctor, a nurse, and perhaps one or two receptionist/administrators. Full-time pharmacies often accompany the clinics, along with an occasional fitness center, health library, and in a few cases a full-service healthy living demonstration kitchen. Industrial settings sometimes incorporate occupational and physical therapy rooms, or accommodations for drug testing, fitness training, and chronic disease control regimens. more...
With patient comfort at the forefront, the Take Care Health-Kahn design template captures each site’s natural aspects and connects them to the healing process. A plentiful mixture of natural finishes – such as wood, stone, water, and glass – are incorporated into the prototype’s exterior brand image, while abundant natural daylight brings warmth to its interiors. The Kahn-devised prototypes are designed to be flexibly employed in centers ranging from 1,500 to 30,000 square feet. Based on the four Planetree “C” principles – Choice, Communication, Convenience, and Collaboration – each Take Care Health Healthy Living Center provides a comfortable and intimate healing environment in which warm color palettes delight the senses and bright, open spaces embrace and encourage patients in their pursuit of healthy minds, bodies, and spirits.
